- 450 g all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 60 g brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 250 g unsalted butter (softened)
- 140 g pearl sugar
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and sugar.
In a separate bowl, mix the eggs with the milk and vanilla.
Beat the egg mixture with the hook attachment of your mixer, slowly adding in the dry ingredients and the softened butter. Alternatively, you can knead the dough by hand, until it is smooth.
Lastly, add the pearl sugar and incorporate it in the dough.
Cook spoonfuls of the waffle dough in your waffle maker, previously greased and warmed up. They will be ready when the sugar caramelizes and they are nice golden color.
