There is nothing quite like the smell of homemade cookies, just out of the oven, spreading itself around the house. This week’s recipe is for all of those who wish to feel that wonderful aroma again.
These peanut butter and chocolate cookies are ready in a flash and have incredible taste and texture. Slighly crispy, full of peanut butter, and the chocolate provides a perfect counterpart to it.
They also don’t require any fancy ingredients – you probably already have most of them in your pantry. Another reason why you shouldn try these delicious cookies, and they will surely satisfy you in many breakfasts, afternoon or midnight snacks!

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 120 g unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 240 g brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp table salt
- 220 g peanut butter (creamy)
- 320 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 200 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 º C. Grease and line two trays with baking paper.
- Beat the butter with the sugar for about 5 minutes.
- Add the eggs, vanilla, salt and peanut butter. Mix well.
- In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder. Reduce the speed setting on your mixer and add the dry ingredients, mixing only enough to incorporate them.
- Finally add the chocolate chips and mix one last time.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cookies are a nice golden color.
